In draftee Daffy, the opening has Daffy duck reading a paper out loud about the “US army frontal attack taking the enemy from behind” (paraphrasing, but I think it’s close to the original). Couldn’t believe that one when I heard it. ---

I’m surprised nobody’s mentioned South Park yet… In one episode, Stan asks Jimmy (the crippled boy that stutters) to tell Wendy (Stan’s girlfriend) that she is “a continuing source of inspiration” for him. Jimmy stutters, so it comes out like: “Wendy…Stan wanted metotellyouthat…you’re a…you’re a cont…cont…you’re a cont…” [at which point Wendy gets mad and leaves] “you’re a continuingsourceofinspiration.” I still can’t believe the censors let that go by! –FCOD ---

The actual line is closer to “Allied Frontal Assault On Enemy Rear.” Bob Clampett was known to sneak risque jokes into his cartoons- some of which didn’t make it past the censors. One of the most infamous was a gag from _Baby Bottleneck_ in which we see a baby alligator has been accidentially delivered to a mother pig. As the alligator attempts to suckle the mother pig’s teats alongside the other baby pigs, the mother pig shoves him away and turns to say something. The cartoon then cuts abruply to the next scene. According to Clampett, the mother pig was to have said “Ah-ah-ah, don’t touch that dial!” (the opening line from the _Blondie_ radio show, and in this case a double entendre). ---

Disney had a _Kim Possible_ episode on awhile back where several characters were trapped in a television (or something along those lines), jumping from channel to channel into pastiches and parodies of various TV shows. One of which was “Evil Eye for the Bad Guy,” complete with rather…“swishy” hosts. These days, for Disney, that’s dang near revolutionary. ---

This was thirty years ago so probably no one would turn a hair toady, but it made my eyebrows go up at the time. [$](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0068152/combined) is a complicated heist movie wherein Warren Beatty and Goldie Hawn conspire to rob several safe-deposit boxes in Gert Frobe’s Hamburg bank. There were lots of nude bits (not by Goldie, alas) that were snipped when it was shown on network television the first time but they let this part through intact. Goldie is a callgirl and is smuggling in the tools they need for the heist to put them into her own deposit box. Frobe, who knows she’s a callgirl, spots her coming in the door and hustles over to take a couple grocery sacks (with the tools on the bottom!) and carry them for her as they walk across the lobby. “Ah, my little fraülein. You have come to visit us again,” he opens. “Yes, Mr. Kessler. I’ve come to visit my private box.” He leers at her. “I would love to visit your private box.” By this time they’ve reached the gate to the deposit box area. She takes the sacks back and dimples at him. “Why, Mr. Kessler, I’m surprised. Surely as a banker you must realize that all private boxes are the same, only some are big and some are little.” and leaves him with his mouth agape. ---
