# I can't believe this was used as a commercial!

I saw this commercial on Comedy Central the other night, and I swear, I can’t get it out of my head!

It starts out in B & W news footage and other video footage of the Heaven’s Gate Cult, with very short clips edited together, mainly focusing on the Nike shoes being worn by the bodies of the dead cult members.

\<cut to black screen\>  
\<blue Keds logo appears in center\>  
Worn by level-headed Christians.

WTF?? I’m still wondering whether I should be offended or just laugh my ass off.

Has anyone ever seen this yet?

Haven’t seen the commercial…

But I’m surprised it took them as long as it did.

I saw it and I think it was a spoof commercial on Saturday Night Live.

Pretty funny idea, though.
