I’ve tried…but I can’t. I just can’t do it. I can’t post on another board. I get a funny feeling in my tummy even attempting to look at another board. Like walking into kindergarten on the first day of school…Feeling so disoriented, abandoned, confused, scared, icky. SDMB _is_ my home. I feel like I’ve grown up here. I don’t want to learn how another board works. I don’t want to get to know other posters…I’m perfectly content with things as they are. In my eyes there can **never** be another as sophisticated and superior (and hardly ever here) as …Cecil, or as suave as yojimbo, or as nice as Homer, or as funny as ssskuggiii, or as admirable as Unclebeer, or as fun as Coldfire, or as interesting as Mr. Cynical, or as cool as democritus, or as funny as iampunha, or as fascinating as struuter, that tops my list like Osip, or as pleasant as Satan, or as delightful as Anniz. The SDMB posters are definitely the BEST! -I may not post very often…I choose them wisely…but rest-assured, I’m always here at my home…SDMB. ---

I know what you mean. I’ve just registered here with SDMB, but I’d been reading threads here for several months. I really like it here and when you find a place that’s like “home” you never want to go anywhere else. 🙂 ---

Yah that is soo right! I used to post on the Chick Click board when I first found mbs interesting… I found my way here through a link on that board and haven’t gone back. Also I don’t think I want to go anywhere else either. ---

I know just what you mean. That’s exactly how I felt when I first came HERE. I’m still a little stiff with everyone and I feel awkward every time I hit the submit button. I post regularly on a couple of other boards. They all know me there - I’m like Norm on Cheers, only thinner and a woman. They know what I mean when I leave things unsaid. They know that if I use a smiley, it’s in an ironic sense. It is hard to start from scratch with a new group, but it’s kind of fun to stretch your horizons now and then, even if it doesn’t feel like home at first. ---

The only other board I’m even registered on is a Baltimore Orioles fan board, and I can’t go there…It’s far too depressing. _whispers_ go M’s. Besides, there’s never a dull moment in this joint.
