Ok, Tuesday rolls around and of course that means WWE RAW is on, one segment in particular disgusted many viewers (and my parents…) Here it is what went down… (Note: The writing in bold is what was EDITED OUT of the version of RAW that i watched) _A Warning airs before the tape. We see a funeral home, looking quite empty. Triple H comes in, but in a Kane shirt and wearing a Kane mask. He walks up to the casket and says she looks better dead than alive. He says she didn’t have to die if she had just let him touch her beautiful breasts. She would still be alive he says before breaking into an argument with the body._\* He says she didn’t love him when she was alive because he was a freak. What’s that? Now that she’s dead she wants him? He says he has always wanted her, and now more than ever. In her cheerleader uniform, bouncing up and down, flashing her panties. He feels up the corpse, telling her to keep quiet. He’s now using both hands, saying she feels kind of stiff. Speaking of stiff, he looks around and takes off his shirt. He undoes the corpses bra and feels her up under her shirt. He pulls off her panties and sniffs them. He says he’s going to give her what she always wanted and take what he always wanted. The camera pans up as Trips apparently pulls down his pants. He lifts the corpses legs in the air and climbs into the coffin. The camera cuts to various flowers in the funeral home as we hear audio of Triple H. We come back as Triple H finishes, then starts asking “I did? I really did?” He grabs the corpses head and pulls up a handful of pink substance, saying he really did screw her brains out.\*_Back live, Triple H laughs hysterically, saying that ought to show the freak. Elsewhere, Terri tries to get in Kane’s room, but he shuts the door. Fade Out_ So mum tells me that she doesnt really want us watching this anymore, just because of this ONE OFF segment I know its bullshit, she knows its bullshit, EVERYONE KNOWS ITS BULLSHIT! But she takes offence to it? It was comedy, ha ha ha, not serious. They played a warning! You can see worse stuff on the discovery channel. SCREW YOU MUM IM WATCHING RAW! (sorry, this was a kinda personal rant… not that interesting) ---

So your mom saw the edited out part or not? Because frankly, if I saw my kid watching something like you just described I’d probably ban it too, depending on their age. ---

Even if it’s meant to be comedy it’s like watching a Pauly Shore movie. You should be deeply ashamed that you enjoy it. Like most of the world…you should think about raising your standards a bit. ---

I like a little pro wrestling - it’s good for a laugh sometimes. But I have to say, I would be seriously fucking bothered if any teenage son of mine was watching a scene like the one described in the OP - even if the bolded portion was not shown. I would let any kid of mine know that I was bothered and that the fact it’s all pretend doesn’t make the idea any less fucking unacceptable. And I would rather that he didn’t watch the shows where this sort of “oogy” storylines happen. I wouldn’t ban wrestling shows completely, because not all the shows have that kind of storyline, and I’d maybe want to check in the TV guide before letting him watch. ---

What the hell did any of that have to do with wrestling? They show little vignettes like that now too? With guys raping corpses? When did this start? Particlewill is glad he doesn’t watch that crap. ---

That was the worst excuse for a vignette in over two decades of wrestling watching - and there have been some other pretty bad ones. I’d say fire the idiot that green-lighted the project, but the idiot owns the company (and his daughter heads the writing team). The only saving grace is that these things usually work through in 3-4 weeks and hopefully it will go to the “bad angle” graveyard never to be resurrected. Fortunately, MNF serves as a temporary distraction during such bad vignettes. ---

This angle is a desperate attempt by WWE to cause outrage and get the media attention that comes with it. They got attention with the Gay Wedding angle a few weeks back and, with viewing figures being as crappy as they are, they need even more. Fact is, this latest piece of crap is being ignored by the media at the moment. From reports I’ve read WWE management are a bit pissed about that.
