THERE’S A HUGE FUCKING DRILL BEING OPERATED NOT TWENTY FEET OUTSIDE MY OFFICE WINDOW. I MEAN _BIG_- THEY’RE DRILLING FOUNDATION HOLES FOR A NEW CONDO. I’M GOING NUTS HERE, AND I CAN’T… ah, cool, they stopped for a few minutes. This is ridiculous- my whole office shakes when they’re running that damn thing. I can’t get any work done… and I’m sure they’re not going to be done any time soon. I just posted a pic of the view out my office window [right here](http://wasabibomb.blogspot.com/). OH CRAP… THEY STARTED THE DAMN THING UP AGAIN. ---

Damn. Will they let you telecommute for a couple days until they get done drilling? Of course, when they finish up with the drilling they’ll find some other way to use construction equipment to achieve eardrum-shattering decibel levels, no doubt. ---

Oh, I feel your pain. They have torn up the street outside our office for God only knows what reason. They repaved the whole thing (which is one of the busiest streets/intersections in town) which has involved them jackhammering just about every day. Plus the pain of not being able to easily get in and out of our office. ---

A huge building was built across the street from the building I worked in that resulted in pile drivers running all day long every day for _two months_. You can imagine how grateful I was that I worked on the far side of my building from the construction. BAM…BAM…BAM…BAM…over and over and over and over. I feel your pain!
