Whenever I hear about Saddam’s latest outburst in court, I can’t help but feel very happy. Because we no longer will be hearing about the tortures, mass-killings, revenge hits or any of the other horrible things he perpetrated during his reign. No matter how I feel about the war politically, there’s no denying that it is a very good thing that he is no longer in power. And I feel glee that when he is in the news now, it is as a courtroom clown rather than a brutal dictator, you know?
Gives me the warm fuzzies. Put that in your stocking this year.
