# I can't program my remote

I have a Zenith ZN-411 4-device universal remote. I bought it about six months ago, just pulled it out and stupidly didn’t save the manual or anything. It controls the (Zenith) TV right away, but I have no idea how to program in the code for the cable box or DVD player.

The cable box’s remote has a range of about 5 feet so I would really like to be able to use this one instead.

I’ve searched but can’t find an online manual or instructions. Does anyone have this remote? It has a button marked “Code Search” but I don’t know the procedure for doing this.

I would be very grateful for anyone who can help!

I found these instructions that apply to other Zenith remotes, though not your specific model.

Give it a shot.
