It’s not insomnia. I don’t remember having trouble falling asleep in the past two years. It’s probably the opposite. I fell asleep earlier this evening and woke up a couple of hours ago. Now I’m stuck. If I wanted to go to sleep then maybe it would work, but I feel wide awake. There’s nothing all that great on TV and once it gets to 3 AM all the informercials come on. Here’s what I’m thinking: I should call those numbers and talk to the people answering the phones. Would that be interesting or should I just leave them alone and go to sleep?

For og’s sake man, turn off the tv. There’s plenty of insomniacs (and people on the other side of the planet) to talk to.

That’s what the internet’s for, isn’t it??

No, no, it’s not insomnia. Usually I have no problem sleeping and if anything I have sleep deprivation (darn college). The TV is just on for background noise. If I went to bed I’d probably fall asleep, but I’m here at the computer and don’t feel like moving.
