Wow, 80,000 different species of nematodes and I forgot all of them! I still can’t come up with a single word that describes the easily grasped concept of the OP: attraction both demanding of and limited to beauty and wealth. (But if its adherent is also eligible to be a cast-member on “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” how about another word I conisdered but found no precedent in Google: **"Culo-fornian**?") ---

Thanks folks. I awoke with still no idea what I am looking for (as in word) but the responses were far cleverer than I thought of- materialistic is good and **Cluriacan** was certainly innovative. ---
