Firstly, through habit I do not read the boards one category at a time. I simply click on the “new posts” and trawl through them for what I feel like reading. In fact my bookmark under Firefox is listed as [http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/search.php?do=getnew](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/search.php?do=getnew) So my sequential threads were in the following order on my screen, but unlikely to be that way on anyone else’s.
