Came back yesterday. Crawled into bed for a 3 hour nap, then we went to see Avengers. Today I still feel like I’m swimming through Jello. I finally broke down, made a concession to age and got some reading glasses. Reading is easier now but how do people do this? If I look away from what I am reading I get dizzy. I suppose I’ll get used to it. Happy Birthday Sun-son and Happy Anniversary! ---

_ **Happy SunnyVersary!!!** _ \*\*sari \*\*- you’ll figure it out. My first few days with progressive lenses were dizzy days, but now I can’t be without them. You learn to deal. 😃 I put the cushions on the deck furniture, then sat out there reading for a little while. It was loverly, except for the white puff-ball-thingies that were floating around. I think I was out there about an hour, but I came in because I don’t need a sunburn. I need to look for our sunblock, or buy some. Either way. I should pull something out of the freezer for supper. ---

The former swimming pool had been mowed. With the drought here, I guess we should be glad, but it’s still weird that someone filled in an in-ground pool and turned it into a smallish lawn. ---

The no-tell motel next door to my irkplace has one of those. It still has the concrete apron thingy, but the pool part is dirt and grass. I bet whoever buys that place will love to have to deal with that. Fun fact: for about a week, the sign above the “For Sale” sign in front of the no-tell said “OPEN FOR SIN.” Eventually they found the BU ESS and put them back up. I should’ve taken a picture. ---

I’m pissed off at CocaCola. I am in their rewards program where you enter the numbers under the bottle cap, earn points and get free stuff. I got an email from them on Thursday telling me that my points would expire in 3 days if I didn’t enter more points. This am I go out to enter points and my account is already closed. By my calculations, Saturday is only 2 days. Of course customer service is closed today, their automated chat is no good. I sent them an email so we will see what happens. ---

Lesson learned - don’t leave poke chops on George Foreman too long. They were really dried out, dammit. The rest of the meal was good, except that I didn’t have cornbread muffin mix, so we had crescent rolls instead. And we’s both stuffded. Ice cream later. It’s been a good day. ---
