Was this the plan, then? Did Obama “rope-a-dope” them by constantly reaching out for cooperation, and they slapped him down because they figured with all that money out there pimping their view, they were bound to win? So they painted themselves into a corner and don’t even win the consolation prize? Is he one smart SOB, or just really lucky? ---

I’m not much for grave dancing. If **Rand Rover** ’s thread on this subject was worthless and stupid partisan baiting, and it most assuredly was, how is this any different? That said, thank Christ, or whoever, that this thing appears to be over.
