I guess only in the MMP can you get away with calling a moderator “thoughtless.” 😉 🙂 My friends had a surprise party for me last night!! 😃 It was to celebrate 10 years of me being in my theatre group orchestra. Lots of cake, friends, and good times! 😃 ---

Good morning, y’all. I’m up, fed, and caffeinating. It’s supposed to be cold again today, so I don’t think anyone is going out. Airman and I are enjoying a quiet morning watching “How to Get Away with Murder”. He’s never seen it before, so it’s a lot of fun explaining convoluted plots, back stories, and flashbacks. It’s kind of like describing a picture over the phone to someone who has never seen it before. In between drama and intrigue, I’m watching the [KittenCam](http://new.livestream.com/tinykittens/oz). There are over 1000 people around the world waiting for this cat to go into labor. I love the Internet! ---

Howdy Y’all! Home from Luterun style deheathenization. ‘Twas a nice service even if sparsely attended this mornin’. Oh well, less people to watch me hurt myself pronouncin’ all those names. 😃 OYKW has gone to swipe the General’s brunch. It’s brunch if eaten before noon. Or, with this bein’ Sunday, it’s brunch if’n it’s eaten between the hours of ten a.m. and two p.m. Remember I’m Whiskypalian. We know brunch! ---

I have decreed today Clean The Stately Manor day. So far I’ve cleaned the living room and put up the window insulation. Next up is the bathroom and taking my lazy clothes out for washin’. I made fried apples 'n onions (from the Little House books) for lunch and it was surprisingly good. I think I’ll add potatoes next time I make it. Looks like Mama Cat is too busy snubbing the camera to go into labor right now. ---

**sari** , the [del] easiest[/del] most efficient way to get rid of a house mouse is to cohabitate with a cat, a snake or even a dog that is a good mouser. Mice may enter but never leave alive. I have a pizza in the oven and just fixed a bowl of salad and am waiting for my neighborto bringa movie up for us to watch while we injest the feast. ---

I’ve lived in this house long enough to know that the local VFD (\< 1 mile away) does a Turkey Shoot\* as a pre-Thanksgiving fund raiser. Therefore, the fact that I am repeatedly hearing gun shots out the window is not a cause for :eek: this day (& only this day). Note that I have never heard gun shots out the window other than two Sunday’s before Thanksgiving, which is a good thing. - shoot a target & _win_ a (frozen) turkey; not shooting turkeys. ---

FIL is napping, MIL is playing some computer games, and \*\*FCD \*\*is watching Washington lose at football. Yep, life is exciting in a retirement community! I bought 4 giganto skeins of yarn in shades of brown. I know what I want to do for my next afghan, I just need to do the math to figure out how many stitches per strip. So I’m good for the drive home. The weather is glorious here, which means we’re in for some weather shock when we get home.
