Not a talkative bunch today are we? Soup ‘n cornbread had been ingested. OYKW has gone to deal with paperirk once again in prep for his monitorin’ next week, poor thing. He says he feels like everything is as good as it’s gonna be so he won’t worry about it over the weekend, which is good. ---

Idiot drivers. I just had a fool turn right in front of me causing me to have to slam on the brakes. Lucky Louie was thrown into the floor. I pulled over to make sure he wasn’t hurt and went to the store the fool pulled in to. I went into the store and found the only customer and asked if he was driving a jeep. He said yes and I told him he almost caused an accident and my little dog was thrown into the floor. He said you need to chill. I said no, MF you need to learn how to damn drive. Not proud of it but I woke up in a foul mood this morning and this was icing on the cake. When I got home and told hubby he scolded me that the fool could have pulled a gun and shot me. I told him if I’d had a gun I’d have shot his sorry ass. If he’d hurt my dog it would have been more than a few words. I hates me some stupid drivers. Other than that I sold my first travel today. It was a round trip to Honolulu. Saved the customer about $400. Not sure what the commission will be but I got my feet wet. ---

It’s been cool, damp and dreary here too, but just in time for sunset, the clouds are breaking and leaving blue sky visible for the next fifteen minutes or so. Fingers are crossed for no rain tomorrow and a normal “Friday Light” traffic pattern as I have to drive diagonally across the Bay Area for work tomorrow. If traffic behaves, it will be about an hour and fifteen minutes, but it just takes one idiot looking at their phone to screw it all up. It’s also been a bad day for trees. Not sure why, but five or six trees broke and fell in San Francisco this morning. ---

Ask and ye shall learn… evening news blames age - apparently, most of the fallen trees were ficus, and as outdoor trees, 60 years is beyond a normal lifespan for a ficus, so they’re brittle and top-heavy. ---

I got this in the mail today. “Enclosed is a notice from Insurance Company regarding insurance changes pertaining to same-sex marriage. If you have a Qualifying Life Event pertaining to same-sex marriage…” Ah, legalese. Never stop using eight words where one will do. ---
