Man, do I wish I knew where my old pants went. I’d be sporting them every day if I still had them…
For the moment, I can’t top that. I don’t have everything in photobucket yet. In the meantime, how about a dose of teh cute?
I’ve never figured out why I had to have both a barrette and a giant yellow hunk-o-yarn to hold my hair back. I’ll post a doozy when I get home and have access to the full “library”.
That’s friggin’ awesome, jsgoddess.
While I don’t think it can ever be topped, I do wish I had the picture of my brother at 7 with long hair to his shoulders (in about 1974) and a nice Captain Kirk outfit. It’s really a sight to behold.
But, again, nothing like your husband here. Am I the only one who wishes for an after picture?
Beadalin , your picture is pretty damn funny too. The very nice smiles on the rest of your family sort of take this picture from funny to sublimely hysterical.
You mean him as an adult?
Well, I think this is the appropriate followup.
gasp I had the exact same shirt, Hockey Monkey!
The one I posted is my very favorite family photo. I wonder what I was after down there. I hope it was candy.
This picture is so ridiculously cute.
Oh, look! He continued to love head gear!
If you note the startling similarity of the parents, the look on the baby’s face is not so unexpected. . .I’m just sayin’.
Won’t be that funny. I’m not going to laugh.

Chuckle, snort . . . BwaHAAHA!
It’s been fifteen minutes since I clicked on the link and had the pic pop up. I laughed pretty hard when I first saw it. Left it open to read some more threads and when I clicked back to it I laughed my ass off again. I just clicked it to it again and CAN’T. STOP. LAUGHING!
You win.
I’ve been giggling at it all morning. It cracks me up how first you see this ordinary posed 70’s family, and then you look at little bit down…oh, it’s a wonderful picture. I hope your family put it on the wall!
Beadalin, that was mean! My stomach hurts and I think I peed a little bit…
Glad it’s bringing some laughs. My parents chose a different photo from that series to be printed, but kept the proof of that one because it cracked them up. Everyone in my family now has their own print of it, though. It’s just too funny not to display.
This looks like it would make a good album cover.
Classic.
That baby is wasted.
Just how adorable a baby was I (don’t be shy with the hyperbole)?
And it’s amazing how little styles have changed since I was a kid (me center being held by my grandfather).
OK, I promised some horrendousness, so I’ll try to deliver.
My aunt’s wedding c.1975. Oh the humanity! The tuxes…they burn! My mother is the one in the small hat.
Rocking the halter top. Hoochie Mamma!
Really Mom? Those pants? I’m fairly certain we had matching curtains in the kitchen.
I’ve always questioned my sister’s fashion sense. Um. Yeah. I can’t say much here.
Dad must’ve dressed us that day.
Hey! That’s my shirt! Heh, it’s the first time I noticed that hand me down.
I’m making a definitive fashion statement. Never seems to have caught on.
Hey Sis, wasn’t that outfit Mom’s pants?
OK, so none of these examples are as good as the OP. I don’t think it can be topped. I hope you guys enjoy these though.
