In southren ca they deliver also … Now out here they do add a dollar delivery charge since the gas prices went up a year or so ago
The lady that delivered for me Said they get about 60 cents of every dollar for gas
Now My bad kfc experience was when I was on meds and gave the driver 2 twenties for a 21 something order
I being spaced out on pain killer forgot to ge the change … I called the kfc and they called him on his cell phone he said "oh I’m sorry I thought that was a tip "
Now I do give 2 or 3 bucks for a tip but 18 dollars ? sheesh

Thats a really shitty attitude.
I’m glad you feel sorry for the delivery person. I would still try and call them and let them know it was an honest mistake… although I bet you’ll get someone on the other line who doesn’t give a shit and just wants to get you off the phone… although, who knows? Maybe they have called ID and your number is now on some KFC blacklist!

KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut are no longer owned by Pepsi-co.
That is one reason why the names have been shortened KFC, the Bell and the Hut.
They sold them off about three years ago or so.

Really? I knew that KFC shortened its name to get rid of the nasty word “Fried”, but around here, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut still have the names “Taco Bell” and “Pizza Hut” on the restaurant signs, menu boards, commercials, takeout bags, pizza boxes, etc., etc., etc. Where did you get the information that they’d shortened their names?

What Kat means is CITE!!!
I’ve had both ends of the coin, getting unjustly shafted and getting surprised by tipping customers. I once waited on a table of two women. I met one of them as she was coming back from the cash register, where she had paid her bill. I said “Thank you, have a good afternoon.” She looked like a deer in headlights. She had obviously not planned on tipping me at all, but I happened to run into her. As I watch her FOLD A TWENTY DOLLAR BILL into her wallet, she handed me a handful of change, which if memory serves added up to a whopping .63, and said "You deserve more than this, but this is all I have." I stared in disbelief at her and mumbled something. I honestly thought she was kidding. Nope. When I told my manager he said, good naturedly: "Did she kiss you?" "Uh...no." I said, confused. "Too bad. It's nice to get kissed when you're getting %#$ed." Man had a point.
On the other hand, I also had a couple of men who appeared to be in their early thirties (best tippers) who left me $10 on a $30 check. And it was a credit card tip, so he had to write it in and then write the total (tip plus check). No messing up there.
So it all evens out. Sorta. If you want to feel a bit morally superior to everyone (and who doesn’t?) I say go down there and tell them what happened. The worst they can do is insult you in that Quebecious way, which (and I assume you are an English speaker from Canada) I’m sure you’re used to.

Technically, from what I can gather from Yum! Brands, Inc.'s site (the new name of Tricon Global Restaurants, Inc., the spin-off company that now owns KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, and now Long John Silver’s and A&W) is that they technically are still owned by Pepsi (or at least the Pepsi share holders) in some manner, but anything business related goes over my head so I’d be curious to know if someone can explain this to me.
On a similar note, it appears that Pepsi does control a large part of the snack industry:
Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Diet Pepsi, Lay’s potato chips, Gatorade, Tropicana Pure Premium, Doritos, Quaker, Ruffles, 7UP (outside the U.S.), Cheetos, Mirinda and Lipton Teas.

I have nothing to get over, assclown.
I couldn’t give a shit if you or Scott go and make prank calls to get pizza or KFC delivered everday and don’t pay. I just said its a shitty attitude. And it is. If you have a problem with that, I suggest shoving your head a little further up your ass until you can get a whiff of air fresh air.

The pizza wasn’t too bad but if you had to make a left onto Lorain during lunchtime traffic it was nowhere near worth it. Besides that Taco Bell just down the road at Lorain and Coe had an all retiree day staff who actually payed attention to how they but your food together.

You know, when I was driving to Toronto last weekend, I stopped at a rest-stop on the highway that had a Kentucky Fried Chicken, the whole name spelled out. Now, I don’t know if maybe it’s a Canadian thing, or maybe they were just too lazy to change the sign. I, in fact, refuse to call it “KFC.” I say no to the acronymization and abreviationization of the Western World!

At the risk of being flamed, I’d like to offer my unsolicited $.02. Mainly because I just _know_ everyone’s sitting around saying to themselves, “WWJD? (What Would JuanitaTech Do)” 😃
I’d make my way to the fine eating establishment, or in this case KFC, and ask who the delivery person was on the night I placed my order. If he were there, I’d apologize in person and tip him what I would have tipped him had I answered the door. If he weren’t, I’d ask when he’s scheduled to work again and stop by then.
For such a well-mannered person as yourself, scott, I’m surprised you don’t care about the human element of this, mainly the delivery dude. The apology letter bit is hyperbole and you know it. But then again, there is that \*evil[/i[ after your name…
