[Ms. Nader] is watching AUDITION if any of you have not yet seen this movie you HAVE got to see it. Too bad the cover art gives so much away; I’m not a fan of the movie but I would love to see an unwary viewer’s reaction upon taking your advice to see this romantic comedy. ---

Is that the one where the girl goes “kuri kuri kuri” as the needle gets closer to the guy’s eye and aghghghh. I barely remember the movie but that part always stood out to me. ---

For those not getting it: The OP’s wife apparently talked about how great a horror movie was somewhere online, and the OP backed it up with a lie about how it is a great love story, rather than a horror film.\ And, yes, the OP did a bad thing. ---

In college, some buddies and I were volunteer ushers for the movie theater, and had to serve at a certain number of movies to keep our permission to see the rest of them for free. Our conservative Christian friend made the mistake of being too lazy to sign himself up, and asked us to put his name down for a few. Heh. ---
