Well, it’s not just my goof of posting before reading the whole thread; **Featherlou** misread a sentence and made a redundant post, **Larry Borgia** misread neanderthals and netherlands, the OP’s uncertainty about ironic use or not, etc. It’s just a thread for errors, it seems. 😛 ---

Every post I’ve seen where someone talked about “catching the gay” was about how, well, it’s impossible to “catch” being gay. Being gay happens, you don’t catch it. And if you’ve been in sexual relationships with someone of the opposite sex and enjoyed them, and then you have one with someone of your own sex and enjoy them, this doesn’t mean you’ve caught a bug - it means you’re bisexual. But lots of people out there don’t interpret bisexual as “may be interested in sex with people of either gender”, but as “nympho”. ---

**Daffyd** , I think you’ll actually find on this board that most of teh gay jokes are being made by…well teh gay guys and gals. I myself have gotten into multi post jokes about toaster ovens, ‘converting’ straight guys and so on. Its all in good fun. (teh is just fun to type I tell ya!)
