Typical morning call-in show. The DJs were talking about rapper Andre Johnson (loosely connected to Wu Tang Clan) who had cut off his penis and jumped off of a building. His penis was subsequently reattached. The DJs were taking calls on what his porn name should be. High brow humor, I know. So after several calls and texts to the show - with suggestions like Long Gone Dong and Frankenjunk - they read another listener text and roared with laughter. The contribution was, in part, a word that cannot be uttered on the airwaves. So they just said “Jumpin’ Jack [blank]”. They then gave a nudge-nudge-wink-wink to the listening audience, saying the unmentionable word rhymes with ‘flash’. It was said as if it should be obvious to anyone listening what the third word is. I can’t for the life of me figure out what they’re talking about. Anyone?? mmm ---

The radio jockeys probably don’t know the definition of rhyme. The word is probably a minimal pair for “flash,” like “flesh.” Of even something just close, like “shaft.” If they can’t say it on the radio, it’s probably going to be a word that means “penis,” at least in context. Unless the word is “hash,” because that’s what he made out of his genitals, but they couldn’t say it because of it’s use as a drug word. ---

I’m going to second gash. It rhymes. It’s a word you probably can’t say on the radio. And it has both a sexual and a violent connotation so it would fit. ---

I thought of gash but that doesn’t strike me as something you cannot say on the radio, particularly compared to some of the other words I hear on the show. Maybe in context, though, gash is a no no. mmm ---
