When I was a teenager one of my sister’s friends fell in love with James Dean. She thought he was absolutely gorgeous. Problem was, this was in 1982. The friend was a bit shocked when my sister broke the news to her. ---

Every now and then I’ll look up someone on IMDb, to find out where else I’ve seen them, and discover that they’ve been dead for a while. Two examples come to mind: **J.T. Walsh** (Lt. Col Markinson in _A Few Good Men_, Big Bob in \* Pleasantville\*), heart attack in 1998 at age 54. _Pleasantville_ is dedicated to him. **Warren Oates** (Sgt. Hulka in _Stripes_, lots of old TV shows), heart attack in 1982 at age 53. ---

Hmm… according to Wikipedia, Aldous Huxley died the same day. That must explain why Lewis’ was ignored. ---
