I was at the grocery store the other day and passed by a man and a woman who were greeting each other. The woman stopped and pointed at me and said “Oh and she is always at the rec center too!” (the two apparently recognized each other from the rec center, and me too)
I took her for her word - whenever I’m at the rec these days I’m swimming and without my glasses so not only is everyone there in a swimsuit, they’re just a blur anyway! 
Speaking of the rec center, one night on my way out the door I saw a little girl talking to her grandma. I couldn’t figure out how I knew her and had thought maybe she was on tv or something! But it was my friend’s daughter, and I’d seen her many times on Facebook but never in person, and she was with grandma not my friend. So - I knew her from the Internet!
