# I disagree with this moderation by Czarcasm

I had a nice lengthy reply typed up, and I was about to post, but it was closed. I realize that the title may have been a little absurd, but the content of the post seemed fine to me. Normally I find the moderation here to be top-notch, but this is one particular instance where I disagree.

I don’t get it either. Are the mods going to start closing threads because they don’t like the titles, or feel they are too long now? Odd, odd reason to close a thread. Maybe there is more going on behind the scenes, that led to the closing?

Well, if it was a movie it would be red-stickered with the note that explicit sexual content may offend.
And I think that **Czarcasm** ’s reference to the title was just his way of noting that the topic was on the wrong side of seemly.

You aren’t honestly saying that it was too much? I KNOW I have seen MUCH worse things than that. He was simply talking about how during sex he got tired before he had an orgasm. Is it because he has no “stamina” or because his “Stamina” is to long. I’ve been on the board for over a year now and this one doesn’t stick out as being overly descriptive. I thought it was humourous to refer to the “little guy” as Casey. Except Casey had a history of hitting Homeruns before :D. I don’t feel like looking for worse threads, but I could certainly find them.

I can’t imagine that it was so unseemly that Czar closed it just for being offensive to his sensibilities. I mean, it’s not that disgusting a problem (much worse has made the board without anyone batting an eyelash), and the OP didn’t contain any questionable language.

Lol, I can only laugh at the moderator’s decision.
I’m not laughing at you Czarcasm, because of course there may be some unknown reason for the thread being closed. But, things are getting kinda sad if a thread involving sex is closed, just for the heck of it. Seemed like an honest OP to me.

It’s all a matter of interpretation and moderators are able to interpret what your posts mean better than you are. I’ve been told to stop posting pointless threads which I thought were not pointless but then again as I mentioned moderators are better at deciding these things than we plebs are. The Mods seem to be trying a domination and authoritarian attitude. Well I hope this serves them well into the future.

Lol, that’s fine, I sort of felt like keeping it civil. I was just hoping for a better explanation. Its kind of funny when mods close obvious threads with a silly explanation, but it was unclear to me.

I thought it was a little heavy-handed. Why not just edit the title if he didn’t like it? I don’t see the need to lock a thread just because you don’t like it. That was as legitimate as anything else I’ve seen in IMHO.

This is me putting words in \*\*Czar’s \*\* mouth, but I think it was meant more like this: If you have to excuse yourself that much perhaps you should think twice about the content.
I also was puzzled, having seen other “TMI” threads not locked that dealt with bodily functions and served no purpose other than to share anecdotes about menstruation, masturbation and (insert your own fornication alliteration here).
Maybe \*\*Czar \*\* was sitting back, cruising the boards, thinking “If I have to hear about one more guy’s cock problems today I’ll shoot myself” and BAM! there it was.
Of course, he could also be dancing around his office wearing a tinfoil tiara and shouting “I am a moderator! Lock - lock - lock, you simple minded fools!”
I don’t know. My $ .02.

I really doubt **Czarcasm** closed the thread because of the title.

If you read between the lines, I think that meant:
“Next time, please think twice before posting a “TMI” thread that’s WAY more than TMI.

It was an honest question. I don’t see what the problem was. Who’s he supposed to ask? His friends? His father? His Father? His brother? Give the guy a break.
That’s my one trepidation for paying to use SDMB. Seems to me the Mod-Squad has taken it up a notch, since my arrival (which wasn’t all to long ago). Some more than others. That’s probably the exact opposite of what they should be doing. Not my problem ~ not my bank account. The thing is, not theirs either.
Takes all kinds, doesn’t it? How boring would this board be if we were all the same. If any, that will be its demise.
As for “Casey” (I LOVE THAT!) I suggest **Wolfman** does some excercises. Don’t get me wrong, I’m far from a health freak. But this is a good one:
Stand with your back against the wall. Now lower yourself (still with your back against the wall) so your knees are bent and it would appear that you’re sitting on an invisible chair. Hold for 30 seconds. Then stand. Repeat 10 times. Morning and night. PS: Chicks don’t usually go for guys who spend longer in front of the mirror than they do. No such thing as ugly, my friend. **Czarcasm** was probably upset because the OP struck too close to home 😉
Seriously, that was a perfectly good thread, from someone who seemed genuinly suffering a problem that would be hard to talk about in a non-annonymous forum. The guy probably only needed some advise on relaxing, and not feeling that he needs to reach orgasm. Maybe advise on mutual masturbation play (vibrator play) etc.
