No, he’s from the UK. Can’t you see his location field? 😃

And, speaking as a Yank, I’ve never seen anything remotely objectionable or even abrasive from you. Perhaps I’ve not been paying attention, or maybe when a Canadian does "mean " it comes out as “everyday United Statesian”.
