Woe is me. Last week, I was at this Turkish Bar I enjoy going to, and started up a conversation with the cute bartendress. I mention how I enjoy going to The Wine Room sometimes, and she says she would enjoy going with me sometime, like maybe tomorrow after work. We didnt make a date, but it was thrown out there. Real life stuff happens, and we are unable to go out for about two weeks. Well, today we are talking about Long Island, my birthplace, and she goes: “My girlfriend is from Long Island” :eek: 😕☹ In that order. Man, this sucks donkey balls. I really thought I had a chance with this girl, and now I am relegated to friend status. I told her I think lesbians are hot, but she politefully declined my offer for a threesome. Double damn. So, after hearing this, I proceed to get plastered and in a drunken euphoria decide to give her an 100% tip. :smack: Why me! UAAAURURURGGGHHH… ---

I thought if you were a guy and she’s a lesbian, you’re playing for the same team. The “likes to do girls” team, I mean. When a guy is “playing for the other team,” it means he’s on the girls’ team, because he’s gay. Like in Red Rover. At least that’s how I always understood the expression. ---

What was the context of the conversation? Girls can say “girlfriend” and mean girl friend or can mean girlfriend girlfriend. Whereas when guys say boyfriend it means that they’re gay. 🙂 ---

Two possibilities here, apart from what’s been mentioned: (1) She can become a good friend regardless of your genders and sexual preferences. (2) She might play for both teams. Some people are like that. ---

It was the declaration of lesbians being hot and a request for a threesome. Sure, there are some bisexual women who are into that, but not all of them, and they are so constantly harassed with requests for threesomes from horny men (and couples) that to bring such a thing up is generally a pretty good way to get on their bad sides. Unless you were very obviously kidding about the threesome, in which case, hey, you might still have a shot. ---

I say “girlfriend” all the time to mean a girl that’s a friend. I don’t think it means she’s gay because she said girlfriend. You asking her for a threesome, however, means the point is moot and she probably won’t go out with you anyway. ---

At any rate, I once found out that a I girl I liked was playing the other team (or the same team, or whatever)… after I’d been _shagging her for two months_. :smack:. She was a bit… _strangely timid_ in bed. She wasn’t sure why. Then she found out. Reasonably sized shocker for all parties involved, including herself. me, and the girl she bonked.
