I’ve been distracted watching The Big Bang Theory ever since someone (I think in a previous thread here) pointed out that the four main characters are almost always wearing the same outfit. Leonard wears a jacket over a hoodie over a t-shirt, Sheldon wears a short-sleeve t-shirt with a geeky design over a full-sleeve t-shirt, and so on. It’s always the same for all of them, plus it seems way too many layers for sunny Southern California. ---

Geeks who almost never go outdoors outside of to and from work, and never exercise, feel much colder than the average guy. Add to that the body image issues that many geeks (and plenty others) feel, and lots of clothes is not unrealistic to my eyes. ---
