We’re going to be blessed with another 3 to 5 inches of snow tonight. On the bright side, this will provide some protection for the grass seed we put down in the chicken yard today. ---

We get the odd snow day here - when we’ve just had a dump of two feet of snow and the roads are completely impassable. They will, however, expect you back at work the next day, because the main roads will have been cleared and they expect everyone to have proper winter tires on their vehicles, not to mention that the buses are running just fine. ---

Well, it looks like we’re done. The dip in the jet stream has gone back to normal, so the parade of storms is over for now. We’ve received 47.6" of snow in April, an all-time record. Temps are forecasted to be in the 70’s this weekend. I’ll put away the snow shovel and get out the lawnmower. ---
