Do the people saying that _yoni_ is a “stupid word” realize that it’s simply a _foreign_ word? It’s Sanskrit. The counterpart term for the male dingus is _lingam_. ---

That said, the point that I was making was that I am aware of cultures on this planet that revere the feminine in ways that the Western culture in which I was raised does not. One of the terms that I have heard used in this context is the Yoni principal (though to be fair, it was by the same cultural pillages that I was bitching about in the OP). So, while I was not aware that the term Yoni was specifically Sanskrit, I did know that it meant Hoo-ha (or Coochie, if you prefer) in some language other than English. ---
