# I Done Killt A Yellowjacket With A Boomerang Today

The newspaper I used to work for got quite infested with flies during the summer (a side effect of the “office” being the publisher’s basement).

I kept a yardstick and a bag of rubber bands by my desk. Loop a rubber band down the length of the yardstick, and let loose with flying rubbery death. On a good day, I’d shoot 15-20 flies out of the air. I was quite the mighty hunting badass.
