While “spring” as we know it here has not quite arrived, I think we’re getting there. Temps only dip below freezing at night, and not every night at that. Last week it got up to almost 60[sup]o[/sup] F on two separate days. Aside from the near constant rain, the weather has been steadily improving, and all the snow on the ground has melted. You can therfore imagine how surprised I was a couple of minutes ago when I stepped out on my back deck for a cigarette. It’s snowing again. ---

How long have you been living in Albany? I grew up near there in Vermont, and the weather was always like that. Even got snow in June, upon occasion. Kind of crazy, and always unpredictable, but at least it’s amusing. ---

Ha. I woke up to snow falling in Knoxville, Tennessee this morning. Of course, it’s been in the 60s/70s for a week now so it’s not as if it stuck anywhere… Oh, and it’ll be warm again by Wednesday. Come August, we’ll be wishing for a 34 degree morning. ---

**Exgineer** , you obviously didn’t have the TV on last night – they had constant warnings about a possible 5-10 inches of snow (like that’s anything to get excited about). Of course, that was for down south your way; up north here, we’re not supposed to get much, if any, accumulation. ---

Here in beautiful, allegedly sunny Florida, we’re expecting temps in the 30s tonight and tomorrow night. Our normal low this time of year is mid-50s, which, coincidentally, is the temp right now. And it’s overcast. And windy. And rainy. Yesterday, it was in the 80s and humid and my legs were eaten alive by various and sundry critters in the yard as I labored in the sun. Tonight, I’ll have to close up the house. Stupid weather. ---

If it was punishment for smoking, it would have been very foggy. Gee, **Rue** , get your punishments-from-God straight before you end up in some deep trouble and then it’ll be really _hot_.😛 ---

Palm Springs, CA. checking in. Sunny, cloudless sky with temps in the mid 80s. Time to shave my legs again, since it’s plenty warm enough to wear shorts everywhere. No humidity and no bugs, just the occasional earthquake. Heaven. Until we reach July, then all hell breaks loose. ---

I’m about 45 minutes from Albany down I-90, so I am with you on the “crappy weather” thing. If the snow was sticking to the ground, I’d be raving right now. Luckily, it’s just falling and ceasing to exist. After yesterday’s Biblical rain, which flooded the sidewalks of the strip mall where I work and came close to inundating the store itself, this seems almost mild. ---

It’s in the mid-40’s, icky and rainy here in SC today after about 8 days of mid-70’s warm-enough-to-pack-up-all-the-sweaters-weather. Bah. Stoopid weather. ---

Well, the sun has broken thru the overcast, sorta. I see some blue sky. I’m about to drag my tired, itchy self to the Y for a workout - I expect the next round of rain will be falling when I’m walking to my car after working up a sweat. But my mood matches the weather - I just finished paying bills. Why waste a sunny day giving money to faceless corporations in exchange for questionable goods and services? OK, so maybe the goods and services aren’t questionable. Still, it’s no fun paying bills. But I’m done, so I’m going to ride a stationary bike and play with some of the arm-working-out machines. Yay. ---

Apparently, **Ex** and **JeffB** are getting the snow we were supposed to get, today. Instead, we’ve got the same weather **Greywolf73** reports from SC. I’d get more pleasure out of the irony of SC having the same awful weather as Boston, if it weren’t for the fact that we’ll be getting the snow tomorrow. ---

Hit Submit too soon. Although the snow’s been coming down pretty good all afternoon, nothing is sticking to the roads, and there’s barely anything on the ground. About the only place there’s any measurable accumulation is on top of cars that have been parked all day. ---

It’s sticking here, too. Three or four inches, maybe. And it’s still falling. Grrrrr. At least it hasn’t started sticking to the roads yet. To think I was just beginning to rejoice about the wonderful spring weather. I bet someone around here retired their snow brush to their car’s trunk for the spring.
