I worked with a guy who had the plate YGROUP (why grow up) on his Corvette, but I heard someone ask him about his “youth group” plate. Another Corvette in the same lot had the arrogant RU NVS (are you envious?) ---

One that I have contemplated for a long time. The license plate simply said PROOF Lawyer? In the liquor or bar biz? Or proof that he had done well unlike what those people back home thought he had been capable of? (It was a Cadillac or similar car) ---

In a parking garage in Santa Monica a couple/few decades ago, I saw a license plate PED2B. I didn’t know if the owner was studying to be a pediatrician, or an aspiring pedophile. ---

Saw one on a BMW that made me laugh. **IMBMING** I’m sure he meant “I’m Beeming” since it was a Beemer (or is it Beamer?) I read it as “I’m Bowel Movement-ing” ---

One of my favorites from a while back was on a Geo Storm: CALMB4 For math geeks / car geeks - a friend had the license plate ALEPH 0. Can you guess what car he had? It was an Infinity Q45. For non-math geeks, ALEPH is the symbol used for “infinity”; 0 (null) is the first level of infinity. Q45 was the first model of the Infinity brand. ---
