Good Morninā€™ Yā€™all! Up and caffeinatinā€™. _YAWN_ OK, actually been up a little while as I have ribs and \ butts! \ goinā€™ in the smoker. ā€˜Tis 73 Amurrkin out and cloudy with a predicted high of 87 and mostly cloudy with a chance of rain this afternoon. No matter cause I will be mindinā€™ the smoker this morninā€™ and ironinā€™ some shirts. Dindin will be ribs so I shall make some baked beans and bake up some sweet N.O.T. Iā€™m thinkinā€™ corn bread as well. **Ruble** that sucks. Sounds like you donā€™t have to absolutely be there if you donā€™t want to be there so thatā€™s a good thing. Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. I suppose I should purtify up a bit as well. Then, onward into the day! Happy Thursday Yā€™all! ---

Good Thorsday all. Been catching up, I gave my brain a day or two off for good behavior. **Ruble,** the SF Author Larry Niven coined the phrase ā€œTANJā€ for ā€˜There Ainā€™t No Justiceā€™. Seems to fit for your situation. Hope it all works out. **doggio,** free popcorn is always a good thing. **Sari,** I had to grin at the cat getting his (her) comeuppance with the basement tumble. Hope the power stays on this time. For all the rest of the MMPers, assorted hugs, grins and condolences in abundance as required. Off to Knoxville in a few hours, the AYSO Section 5 soccer tournament is there this year and I am refereeing 6 games (maybe more) there. Itā€™s a nice little getaway and I can see other players and get yelled at by different parentsā€¦\ Back on Sunday so Iā€™ll report any interesting (or non-interesting) developments then. ---

Happy Thorsday! Not. I woke up at 3 and never really got back to sleep. It was cloudy but now the sun is out. Itā€™s supposed to be a bit cooler today, high of 83 and rain. Weā€™ll see. Howdy Yā€™all! I decided to go ahead and mow da yahd this morninā€™ beinā€™ as rain is predicted over the next two to three days and ifā€™n I waited it would be more like balinā€™ hay than mowinā€™. Thus I did and itā€™s done. \ Butts! \ shall come off the smoker in about an hour. Ribs are all ready off and wrapped up. Most will go in the freezer for future use but some ribs are for dindin tonight. I have made up my infamous doctored canned baked beans. I remembered that I have scalloped N.O.T. leftover from yestiddy so they shall get et up instead of bakinā€™ sweet N.O.T. Iā€™ve been a bzzy bear this morninā€™! **MetalMouse and Ruble** yā€™all have fun and be safe! ---

I have found that the lifespan does not live up to the hype for CFLā€™s, the LEDā€™s gives a better light and you get to avoid calling out the HazMat team if you break one of the bulbs. **Flytrap** , CFLā€™s were a short term, stopgap replacement for incandescent bulbs. LEDā€™s are long lifespan replacements that sip power. The biggest issue with them is that they do not produce a lot of waste heatā€“so the snow on traffic signals does not melt away like it did with older bulbs. Opps! ---

Thanks for the condolences everybody. We havenā€™t heard yet about any funeral/wake/whatever. Wifey will inform me when that happens and whether we will attend. Itā€™s 100 miles away, so weā€™ll see. I detest funerals in general and donā€™t go iffen I can reasonably get out of it. Also, as much as SIL and I liked each other, her husband and daughters donā€™t like me much at all. Ya know, **Ruble** , Non-christians are also fully aware that life is not fair. Quite often itā€™s the christians that make it not fair. Just sayinā€™. Sorry about the job. I know what itā€™s like to have new management come in and screw up a good work environment. Itā€™s those damned business school graduates again, I expect. We hates them! I/we still have some CFLs in the cupboard that I bought when they were on sale. We also have some LEDs that I bought when they were on sale. Iā€™m trying to use up the CFLs where I can before I switch over to LEDs 'cause Iā€™m [del]cheap[/del] frugal. The consarned things last forever! At least around here. Iā€™ve already put LEDs in the places that get a lot of use, like the bathroom, and thereā€™s only a very few places left I can use CFLs. :dubious: **Rosieā€™s** sig to all who needs it. ---
