I have been very unproductive today. Lack of sleep will do that to you. So far I have irked, fed the cat, taken a nap, unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher, and paid a few bills. I need to clean the litter box. I had a microwave breakfast and cup noodles for lunch. Dinner tonight will be whatever I can find in the fridge. It still hasn’t rained. ---

Back from Uncle’s. Was generally fun, but there was _shudder_ country dancing, and my mother missed her calling by being not born when press gangs were a thing. It wasn’t helped by the fact it was an 80th, so half the attendees were a similar age… Surprisingly, my Uncle apparently didn’t twig that we weren’t just having a nice dinner with close family until we actually walked into the venue. In other news, I’m psychic- the new chef has gone, and the former one is back in tomorrow to help settle in _new_ new chef. I await the next shift with interest. ---

**MOOOOOOM** I say go out to eat. Da cave smells so nummy right now! The ribs are in a slow cooker all wrapped up in foil and on warm. I just put the baked beans in the oven and will make corn bread in a little while. I had me a snack cause I was hongree and all the nummy smells were not helpin’. **Nuts** glad the uncle’s bday soiree went well. Yay for new, new cook. May he at least be less crazier than old new cook. ---

I get queasy a lot easier than I used to though. I think that, along with a decreased tolerance for pain, heat, and cold, comes with age. ---

Dindin has been ingested. I like ribs with bbq sauce but sometimes ribs that have been smoked and rubbed are just the thing. That’s what I did. YUM! OYKW is happy cause he has ribs, beans, N.O.T., and cornbread for N.O.L. tomorrow. **MOOOOOOM** I say an ice cream sundae is a balanced meal. There’s dairy, and I’m sure protein all up in a sundae, so why not? 😃 I shall sleep with Ty tonight for sure. I’s achy! ---

We went to Leonardtown Grille - \*\*FCD \*\*just had their monstrously large N.O.T. skin appetizer (equal to 1 1/2 russets!) and I had the grilled tuna sammich with onion rings, but I didn’t eat the bread, just the tuna and rings. We’ll have ice cream later. I shall sleep with Mel tonight. I need it. And tomorrow I shall paint. ---

Mrs. Plant (v.3.0) does not like wine, but it is polite to offer her a taste when I have something new. I offered her a taste of Pink Muscato, and expected her to comment, “Resinous, with a slight citrus flavor”, but she said, “It’s that syrupy shit again.” ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. _YAWN_ ‘Tis 68 Amurrkin out and fair with a predicted high of 88 and mostly N.O.S. for the day. A far cry from yestiddy’s prediction of rain/tstorms/apocalypse for today and tomorrow. Just as well, cause tomorrow is a scheduled mowin’ day over to the church house. I’d rather just get that done. I know the back forty needs mowin’ bad cause it’s been two weeks and we have had a bunch of rain since then. Also, I may get in some quality cee-mint pond time this afternoon and tomorrow! YAY! Dindin shall be majik intartoobz pizza and sallit. I need to do some errands this mornin’ and put fresh sheets upon the bed. The excitatement knows no bounds! 😃 Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy demands sustenance. Then I suppose I should change the sheets, purtify, and go be about the public for a while. Mel was a little help last night, but not as much as I’d hoped. I went back around 8:30 and watched TV till almost 9:30 waiting for Mel to do his magic - usually in 30 minutes I’m unconscious. I did fall asleep, tho, then woke around 3 for a bladder call. Fortunately, I fell back to sleep til 6 or so. Critters have been fed, the dishwasher is sloshing away, I’ve ingested a less-than-satisfactory bagel, and I’m caffeinating. With luck, we’ll see some rain in the next few days, but the best the forecast can offer is 50% chance. Dammit. Before I start painting, I’ll drag the sprinkler down to the hill and give the garden a drink. Then I’ll get a coat of Kilz on the OSB panels in **FCD** ’s soon-to-be paint booth. That’s pretty much gonna be my day. It’s not supposed to get stupid hot and the shed does have an exhaust fan to keep air moving - it may not be torture… Happy Firday! ---

The cat and I are enjoying the open windows. He likes sitting in them, I like the fresh air. I want to finish the mulching today but somebody is feeling lazy. I think we should get it done while it is cool outside and before it rains but since I can’t carry the bags I can’t do it myself. There are other things we can do though. ---

Howdy Y’all! In from spendin’ quality time at the cee-mint pond. Just decided I’d had enough of the great outdoors. 'Tis hawt out but the water is cool. Instead of majik intartoobz pizza for dindin we shall have carryout from Shake A Snake. I possess a two for five dollah coupon for their four dollah meals. I shall order online and go pick up since I do have one errand I have yet to do that is over by the Shake A Snake. I can order foodz take care of the errand and pick up the foodz. Dindin done easy-peasy!
