I wasn’t really sure what Claire was asking. Like, did she mean, “Do you have a weird fetish for trans people?” Because otherwise, aren’t they just basically two people who care about each other? Does it have to go deeper than that? ---

Normally my reactions to Marten run from disinterest to annoyance. But I liked the way he handled the situation in [today’s strip](http://questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=2912). ---

I’d say that Dora has officially become the most boring character in the strip. First fight with Tai, make up on the next day, yay, go team. I’d love a fast-forward to the upcoming Emily/Clinton date that Marten and Claire are masterminding, because they look forward to the “entertainment value.” So do I. If the next several weeks shifted over to “The Adventures of Emily,” I wouldn’t mind at all. I love Emily. MUSKRAT!!! ---

It’s not an uncommon trope to have someone uttering a nonsensical punchline when entering a scene…that’s what I thought was going on there. ---

Usually wife/mother in some insulting format though, i.e. “So I say, that’s no garbage truck, that’s my wife!” or something similar. ---
