# I don't think Biden should bother debating Trump

Biden? as one senator of 100 in the Minority party? He had no authority to do anything. However, Obama did when he was prez, so some of that goes to Joe.

I see we won’t be using irony in this thread.

I did not intend my post as a real attack on Biden. When the warnings about Covid19 were raised earlier this year, Biden was a former Vice President. He had no authority to do anything about the impending crisis. Trump, of course, was the President; he had the authority and sworn duty to act but failed to do so. I was pointing out the absurdity of comparing their two responses and expecting they should be asked the same questions.
