I remember I was stuck in a hospital waiting for somebody to get better at like 2 in the morning because I was their ride home after discharge. This was around 2000ish, there were literally no magazines in the waiting room, no TV on, nothing was open because it was 2am, and I couldn’t just sleep because it was uncomfortable hospital chairs. Might have been the most bored I’ve ever been in my life. I wound up reading those brochures they give you called things like TOP 5 WAYS TO RECOGNIZE A HEART ATTACK for about 4 hours.
