I had already argued that his argument was bad–based on a poor premise. The only relevant argument is the one he didn’t make–the one made much earlier in the thread. That’s why I said “the only argument that is relevant” rather than “the only argument **you made** that is relevant.” Look–there’s a reason I replied to **Left Hand of Dorkness** and not you. He has offered substantive argument. You’ve only offered dismissive misinterpretations of other people’s posts, ignoring their substance. As such, I had no reason to believe I could convince you. I only lament that **LHoD** threw in the towel so quickly. I actually expected him to show me how I was wrong–either in how I interpreted him, or in my argument. ---
