You don’t have to like New York. But if you don’t, you need to be prepared to take loads of shit. More than if you don’t like Idol, or football, or fried chicken, or religion, or even sex. New York may not be the greatest place on earth, but like it or not, it owns the rights to the _idea_ of “greatest place on earth,” and lots and lots of people are going to accept that at face value. Especially with the PR campaign they’ve been waging for the past century or so. ---

I live here. I have never been to the Statue of Liberty or the top of the Empire State building. And I’m cool or hip or whatever the buzz word is these days. ANyway, if you need a hand(le) PM me. You must really love or need whomever you are traveling with. ---
