# I Dream of Jeannie: Did the Bellowses realize that Jeannie & Tony were living together pre-wedding?

Tony’s house did have a second bedroom. Jeannie rented it out once to a hippie couple.

Damn. Did _every_ mid-late 60s show have a hippie episode? I can’t remember if _Beverly Hillbillies_ had one, but I wouldn’t be surprised.

I remember one where Jethro, in his “Robin Hood” phase, hooked up with a group of hippies and told them how great “crawdads” (crayfish) were. “You smoke 'em!” The hippies, who apparently had never heard of “crawdads,” were so looking forward to this new trip, and were utterly shocked when Jethro actually caught some. “That’s too weird for me, man!”

Swigert was the command module pilot, so he would not have walked on the Moon even if Apollo 13 had landed there. I’d still call what the Apollo command module pilots did “flying to the Moon”.
