Phone #3… washed in the laundry
Phone #4… dropped in the toilet (clean water)
Bluetooth #1… pushed off the counter into the toilet (clean water)
I should OWN Verizon by now. Nothing that I’ve gotten submerged ever worked right again. Here’s hoping that you have better luck than me.
Dropped mine in the toilet while peeing. Sony Ericsson T610, back when that was one of the flashier (and more expensive) phone-y items on the market.
A salutary lesson learned, though- don’t try texting and urinating at the same time.
There should be a round white sticker on the back. If you’re extremely lucky (and didn’t remove the battery while you rinsed it) this may not have gotten wet, and will still be white. If so, your carrier will replace the phone for you assuming you’re still under warranty (and you don’t tell them it got wet). If, on the other hand, it’s pink or red, you’re SOL.
Somehow I missed the whole Giraffe/sandwich contest. I read through the 5 pages and my worst fear was realized - the webpage with the pictures is gone. Does anyone have the pictures? Are they on a different website or could they be emailed to me? Sorry Giraffe, but something like this just can’t die.
A friend’s father had a nasty stomach virus with the usual symptoms. He had just finished a bout of diarrhea, stood up and turned around to puke, and propelled his dentures into the toilet. :eek:
