Made a dent in the local population of dirty dishes, too. Soup with bread was good. Currently starting the bacon for pierogi. Having some laughs courtesy of “South Park.” Have nearly finished the “blue” segment of that rainbow cross stitch. Once I get into the purple, I’ll post another work-in-progress pic for y’all. ---

I’m making apple honey whiskey cakes to give away tomorrow. There’s a little whiskey in the glaze, so I have to warn recipients in case they’re recovering alcoholics or their religion proscribes alcohol. I need to get meatloaf in the oven. The Sunday phone calls made me late, but are so worth it. **Mooooom** , an elderly widower friend of mine used to say his wife “was always insisting we save for retirement. Now she’s gone, and i don’t have anything to spend it on!” You and FCD have something to spend money on and the ability to have fun with a boat, so I say, go for it! How far away is your marina? Dang. The people upstairs decided Sunday night would be a great time to crank up the music. I think I need to live on a boat.\* \*Just kidding, **FCM**. I’m a happy landlubber. ---
