Funny…_but_…if there’s one thing that bothers me more than seeing someone use the spelling “hampster”, it’s seeing “hamster” and “hampster” used interchangeably in the same piece. Pure inattention to detail.

It’s a good thing people who write like that aren’t in the nuclear safety industry (I work with nuclear safety documents).

A rare and beautiful thing, that. So seldom in the daily rush ofr details and whatnot does one get a chance to be _purely_ inattentive.

I always thought _The Hampster_ was a nickname for [Lionel Hampton](http://www.uidaho.edu/hampton/). Was I wrong? :dubious:

I thought Hamptsers was the name given to rats from the Hamptons.
