I like a smoother lighter roast and have tried a bunch of them. Keep coming back to the Starbucks Veranda blend. ---

I’ve tried a lot over the years and many were just crap, but I’ve settled on these three: Starbucks Pike Place is by far my favourite. McDonald’s McCafe is second. Timothy Columbia Excelencia comes in a close third. I always have a few of these on hand and mix them up so as to have the variety. To date I haven’t found a good decaf, always have to touch them up with Kaluha to make them drinkable. ---

I’ve found the Barista Prima Italian Dark Roast from Costco to be excellent. I haven’t seen it available in store in my area, but I order it online. I think it’s also available through Amazon. It’s a full bodied strong coffee. It’s surprising that a coffee that good can come from a Keurig type machine. ---
