I’ve been struggling with falling asleep ever since high school. _When_ I fall asleep, I can sleep forever, but it’s been difficult/impossible to keep a schedule.

But I finally found something that actually helps: Midsomer Murders!

It is interesting enough for my thoughts not to drift, but it is boring enough that I don’t pay attention. And there are so many seasons! And each episode is one and a half hour. So when I’m done with them, I’ll just start over again, since I can’t actually remember much of it.

Maybe it’ll help someone else, I don’t know.

(I’m not sure if this belongs here, or in MPSIMS…)

I also like watching shows that aren’t very engaging. Shows that help me fall asleep:

[How It’s Made](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0835010/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1) – Short clips of how different things are manufactured

Yoga videos – Lots on youtube. Calm, repetitive talking and peaceful music. Since there’s no story, it’s easy to doze on and off and not realize it.
