Do we know for sure that Luke/Leia are twins? I don’t remember if Obi-Wan told Luke he has a twin sister, or just a sister… ---

It was made clear in either Empire Strikes Back or Return of the Jedi. It also becomes clear that Darth Vader is unaware that he has a daughter because during their fight scene Vader says, “Aaah. But there’s another. You were wise to hide your sister’s existence from me.” (the quote is SOMETHING like that). ---

**Wolfian** -she only vaguely remembers her mother-she says she only has some very vague feelings about her mother-that she was very beautiful and very sad-and that she died when Leia was but a wee baby. And yes, they’re twins! Obi Wan says, “The other was your twin sister.” ---

Only one Sith survived the cataclysm that wiped out the Sith (and a large chunk of Jedi, too): Darth Bane. As the previous Sith organization had the internal integrity of COBRA, he decided to go with a simpler 1-master/1-apprentice system. For some reason, he also passed down the tradition of all subsequent Sith taking on his first name - thankfully, he had a cool-sounding name like ‘Darth’, as opposed to, f’rinstance, ‘Floyd’. ---
