I finished a model: an Edwardian Aerial Housecar

Holy crap, that is some beautiful modeling. Will you come work on my railroad? How do you feel about 1:87?

Wow. Just …wow.

Very cosy looking kitchen! I want to have tea in while flying over the English country side.

January, 1987 was a pretty good month, overall, I guess. Ta-dump sssssshhhh!
No, seriously, when Dad was building his monstrous model railroad layout I built a number of cars for it, including three Jordan fire engines. Their Ahrens-Fox is a real beauty. I also built a little house for him, with working lights. But I think he got a little impatient with my prolonged build times

I do too!

There’s a cat in the window! Shoo, kitty!

On the desk, no less! She specifically told him he wasn’t permitted on that desk!

A postscript: I took the model to Wonderfest, and it got a Gold! Hurray!

Awesome. Judging by the pictures, which I have just seen, totally deserved.

Dammit, you stole my light-hearted comment.

I bet a 3-D printer would come in handy for this type of stuff…

Crikey, that’s hard core! I come from the Revell generation of glue-together kits; you put a hell of a lot of real original creativity into your labors!

Thanks for the kind comments!
