I finished radiation today-- help me celebrate!

Thanks! Y’all are the best.

The fatigue associated with radiation therapy can persist or recur for weeks, and can hit you suddenly.

The condition of the skin over your treatment area will show increasing damage over the next two weeks or so as the burn works its way outward. Expect to keep treating it for another six weeks after that.

Then it’s more tests to confirm that everything is clear.

THEN you can do the BIG celebration.

Hugs for you, ThelmaLou! (Hugs are great medicine)

I’m wishing continued healing, returning strength, no or minimal side effects, and perpetual happy & upbeat disposition. Way to go! Keep it going!

Good info.

I think I’ll celebrate now… **and **then.

Congratulations congratulations congratulations!!!

Nothing makes me happier than something good happening to one of my favorite people!

ThelmaLou, congratulations!

I got to skip this part of the treatment–the radiation oncologist thought it was overkill in my case–but I’m glad to hear you got through it and are doing okay.

Congratulations! It’s a great feeling, isn’t it? My last treatments ended in the 70s, and I still remember the relief.

And I join My Beloved in offering my sincerest congratulations, ThelmaLou!

Thanks, everyone.

Congrats, congrats, congrats!
