Okay, now that is indefensibly dumb. The only reason to give him organics is to close the disparity between movies and comics, thus making it easy for film fans to take up the books. Changing his canonical power set makes it more confusing.

yeah i fore sea another clone like train wreck coming. Ok I’m starting to wonder if it’s time to put Spidey down for good, it’s starting to feel like watching a pet die of cancer, you eventually start thinking that they have been to good to you to suffer like this. At least JMS spider totem stuff could be swept under the carpet and ignored.

Hey, making Peter a Spider-Totem and giving him empathy with insects (or, as described in the link, a more refined “spider-sense”) is still light-years far superior to the whole Spider-clone crap.
