And while **HurricaneDitka** did not answer the OP, he did offer his opinions on other poster’s answers. In my book that’s OK, even if the actual substance is a one-liner, because I consider relevant comments about an on-topic post to be on-topic. You also decided to address the straw man instead of pointing out that it was a straw man and leaving it at that. If **HurricaneDitka** has a pattern of derailing threads with invalid arguments that might be a problem, but I’m new and won’t make such a judgement at this time. But I still think some of his other comments in that thread were fine. I could not say that his motivation for participating in that thread is to hijack the thread. The question itself did not invite factual answers because it is essentially asking for predictions of Republican behavior in the future. Again, I’m new here and probably don’t understand board etiquette.
