# I found Hostess Zingers!!!

Zingers are shaped more or less like Twinkies, but come in three different flavors (chocolate cake with chocolate icing, yellow cake with vanilla icing, and yellow cake with raspberry stripes, flecked with coconut).

Koo Koos (according to my google image search) appear to be indistinguishable from Hostess Ding Dongs (except not wrapped in aluminum foil). They appear to have had a raspberry-and-coconut iced counterpart called “Razzles,” and perhaps a vanilla and raspberry-coconut version called “Googles.”

To this day, when I hear “Linus and Lucy” I often hear an announcer’s voice in my head proclaiming “Sponsored by Dolly Madison!”

Hostess bought Dolly Madison about a year before they went bankrupt.
