Now what sort of obscure trivia can I use to prove I got it… Well rat already took the initials, and most things would be too obvious. I personally am 3 degrees from Kevin Bacon. Meg Tilley stayed in the hotel I worked at in Lake Louise, Alberta, while she was filming a truly awful movie called “Leaving Normal” (with Christine Lahti). I was her personal housekeeper. Oh the joy. ---

Then again, I met Michael Skupin of Survivor II a couple of weeks ago. Since he’s in the IMDb, and he’s got a Bacon number of infinity… That gives me Infinity + 1!!! Woo Hoo! Apparently, he was in “The Scout” with Anne Twomey, who was in “Picture Perfect” with Kevin Bacon. I think Kevin Bacon has powerful cosmic forces that none of us can even begin to understand. ---

**Stoid** , you do not have a Bacon number of 2, unless you were an actor in “Made In Heaven.” **SallySimpson** , you do not have a Bacon number of 3. **Paul The Younger** , **GingerOfTheNorth** , neither of you either. Y’all have missed the concept: These are all people who have appeared in movies with people who have appeared in movies who…with Kevin Bacon. Just knowing people with a connection is not enough. It’s about _actors_. And even as I type this I think I’ve realized who is 10. Let me post this, check it, then post again. ---

No, **Fiver** , we got the concept. It burns within all of us to believe that we are somehow special, different from the rest of the pack. That we can walk down the street holding our head high, secure in the knowledge that we ARE somebody…WE HAVE A PLACE IN THIS WORLD… WE HAVE…A BACON NUMBER!!! [sub]So what if we gotta bend the rules a bit? I think you’re just jealous 'cause you never got to clean up a Hollywood movie star’s toilet or shake hands with a Survivor. Congratulations Opus1! Finding a Bacon number of 10 must be extremely hard. I see from the [Hall of Fame](http://oracleofbacon.org/oracle/hof.html) that less than 10 people have found Bacon numbers of 10 or 11. I’ll have to disagree though that “finding people with Bacon numbers above 3 is damn near impossible.” It depends on how you approach it. For the average person, thinking of an actor you remember and plugging his/her name will not give you a very high Bacon number. But if you go to IMDb, search movies by year or by country ([IMDb search central](http://us.imdb.com/Search/) - click on “year” or “country” in the left-hand navigation bar), and pick very old movies or older films from a foreign country, you can find Bacon numbers above three fairly easily. In about 8 minutes I found a Bacon number of 6 by trying actors in movies made in Albania. The Oracle says: Mevlan Shanaj has a Bacon number of 6.
